I believe the reported percentages are for the applicants who enrolled, that’s what question C9 of the form is asking for. Therefore the percentages would more or less apply to the admitted students pool.
She did get accepted and will be headed there this fall!
Congratulations! My daughter is very interested in UNC Chapel Hill although she would be an out-of-state applicant

My child has similar stats - also admitted.
OOS, 1550, 4.0, 14 AP and 1 DE. Varsity sports captain and NHS president. Two students got in EA from our school, both are male and strong in STEM. We love the school but will have to decide based on other results end of March.
Almost all top students apply to UNC from OOS because T25 are just so unpredictable. I have a feeling that lots of OOS admits May drop out in May. Best of luck all.

We are still undecided in my home. Does anyone who has already paid their enrollment deposit have any insight on when student orientation registration opens for new tarheels or has it already begun? I can’t find a concrete date. I found information that said mid-spring. If anyone knows, please pass along. Thanks!!

The dates are posted now but the admissions office said first week in April is when registration starts.

Registration for Freshman or upper classmen? I’d be surprised if it’s earlier than when decisions occur. I had heard June from a friend.

Sounds like UNC took students from the waitlist today, too, so for next year’s folks, waitlist may mean something more like deferred if you applied EA.
Where did you see/hear this? In state or OOS kids?

No clue how many got in, but two of my daughter’s friends who were waitlisted EA got acceptances along with RD kids yesterday. Both in state.
From daughter’s friends - both in state and at the same time as others heard RD. They got an email they had updates in tehir portal.
