<p>USC as in socal. Which has a better reputation in political science/ir for undergrads? i know unc has much better grad ranking, but is its UG as good?</p>

<p>I do not think there would be much of a difference in terms of quality of education at the undergraduate level. I would go for fit. UNC has a magical campus environment, and will likely cost you less, unless you got a scholarship from USC. Of course, should you be more of a Football fan…or should you prefer a large city to a college town, USC may be the better option, assuming it is affordable to you.</p>
