We are in-state and haven’t heard a thing (still considered waitlist). I see that some decisions went out last week. I am wondering how many are still on the waitlist and if there is even a chance to get off that waitlist.

I wonder if this is something offered to legacy only. Very hard to get any information on it but the only other kid I know who got it (a few years ago) was also OOS legacy.

I don’t see the logic why they are not sending few rejection letters out, at least they would not be taking every waitlisted student. They could put some on extended list and release rest of us. All I got reply was that they have not yet come to any decision about waitlists (a week ago)!! I guess today is holiday and hopefully by Monday?

Just saw this thread, thought I should add: got a waitlist rejection last friday. I emailed them to take me off the waitlist after I got into my top choice so either it didn’t go through or the rejection was a “they got my message”

In state? Probably it was response to your email.
out of state, waitlisted in January and took the position early in case they would think I wasn’t interested

My daughter wrote for an update yesterday. Admissions said they were working on an update for all the waitlisted applicants. It did not sound hopeful. It sounded like they were going to tell everyone “sorry, no slots left.”
My daughter got a ‘sorry’ email a couple of weeks ago. High stat OOS applicant, but not a legacy. She moved on months ago though, so not a surprise.

I just got an email saying to check the website and that they had updated their decision but it still says last updated on January 27th.
My portal is doing the same thing.
