UNC Supplement HELP!!- Comfort food

<p>What is your comfort food and why? (500 words )</p>

<pre><code>As I was suffering from the anxiety for upcoming important exams, my brother taught me the benefits of the “soybean sludge” which he learned from his medical school and suggested me to only drink it before and on the test day. Never a complainer, I applied his method and consumed whole bottle of grinded soybean while having a small doubt about the effect of this yellow-mush. Yet, on the test, I could not stop myself from being impressed by the miracle of this magic sludge.
Soybean sludge kept my brain awake even in the early morning and cleared my thought which had been my unovercomable problem. Not only that, it filled my stomach while gave me a sense of little hunger to prevent me from losing focus. Soybean sludge comforted both my physical and mental health. In pursuing a career in nursing, through this experience, I realized that suitable nourishment is more than just an energy resource and can accomplish as great result in human health as medical treatment. Generally enjoying helping others, I gave the recipe for soybean sludge and taught its benefits to my friends who were suffered from anxiety of SAT and PSAT.
The more I drink soybean sludge, the more I become interested in nutrition. As a future nursing students who want to dedicate my life serving U.S military in foreign country, which is having a severe shortage of male nurses in military life due the stereotypes, I am highly concerned with efficient meals for soldiers who are occupying in places that are lacking resources such as Afghanistan. And knowing my limit of my knowledge in human diet and wanting to expand it, I was allured by course offered school of nursing at University of Carolina at Chapel Hill, Nursing Role in Normal Nutrition.
Soybean sludge not only gave me a comfort in my body, but also planted new vision in me. Although I cannot possibly understand and learn every nutriments, through The University of Carolina ’s approach to aiding human life, I can utilize the wealth of advantages offered to garner knowledge and passion to genuinely serve and understand the people whose lives I wish to impact, like soldiers in Afghanistan. Just as my brother relieved my stress with “soybean sludge” I will embrace and apply all the valuable learning from school of nursing at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, solidifying my goal to bring lifetimes of good health and good spirit.
