Honestly at this point it could well be any day this week! Old trends are out the window. But fingers crossed for today!
Although it is just speculation, I think that it is very likely that decisions will be out today.
I don’t think that they would send out the email to ask the applicants to check their credentials unless they were planning to post decisions soon. Possibly, something went wrong last week which lead to postponing of the decisions, and the admission office could not update anything because of that.
If they were planning to post decisions this Friday, they could have sent out the notification email this week, instead of last week.
If they are not going to post decisions today, then it is just evil

I’m just gonna GUESS around 3/4 EST time any day this week. That’s when I’ll be checking

It might be today, but I think its gonna be Friday. Trying really hard not to get my hopes up and honestly at this point I just want to know. I think like pretty much all of us, I have been working so hard these past two years my current school to transfer to UNC. I also wanted to chime in about the GPA conversation: I think its really important to factor in what year you are applying for. This is my third time applying to UNC, and last year (applying a sophomore) I had a 4.0 (with a great resume, essays, and recs) and got flat out denied. I believe this is because they look at your high school stuff wayyy more than college at that time because you’ve only completed one semester of college. Although I do agree that UNC’s admission policy is foundationally set on a holistic approach, GPA is a huge factor and its a lot tougher if you’re applying as a sophomore than as a junior transfer, in my opinion. Just food for thought!
i really thought i was over the nerves after all the disappointment last week but now that 3 is approaching i am getting so antsy!!! and we dont even know if we’ll have our decisions
Instead of refreshing my portal, I’ve been checking this chat. You guys will tell me when it’s been updated. When they do tell us, I can take a moment to collect myself before I look.

Do we think that they will just post the decision online, or will they email us again saying the decision is finally out?
I am going actually insane waiting for this decision like at this point I just need to know if I got in or not and need to apply to fall classes at ASU! SMH
Also most college decisions don’t come out till 5 or 6 pm usually so if we don’t see anything at three we should not give our hopes up for the day… I remember when I was in high school a few years ago and my brother transferred to UNC he received his decision on my birthday (April 11th) about three years ago. I
m sure things have changed since then but we may be looking closer to Friday:(
Just did some research to pass the time and I found out that both transfer students from 2018 and 2017 received their decisions by the first Friday in April at 3:00pEST, 2016 transfers got their decisions at 4pEST on 4/14, and 2015 transfers got their decision at 1pEST on 4/9.
