If any of you are EXSS majors, don’t hesitate to message me. I can help guide you through the major and plan/give advice.
I just excepted my enrollment, when do we get information about classes and FA and stuff?
That should come within the next week @kflan13 Registration for classes should be within a bout a week as well.
“we require that you continue to achieve at the level that
enabled us to offer you admission” - does this mean that I can’t get anything below my current GPA, or do I just have to reasonably pass the classes that I’m in?

Also, out of state
Does anyone know what the next step would be or is such as setting up a UNC email and applying for housing? I just accepted my offer of admission. I am assuming they will send out more information soon?
@turnoverchain22 there is no hard gpa requirement for this semester for them to take away your offer of admission, but they want to see you finish strong. It is not common for them to take away offers if you get below your current gpa but a gpa much lower than expected may be a cause for concern.
@reidtw Financial aid offers came out in varying times. It TENDED to be quicker once someone accepted their offer of admission. My aid offer came 3 days after my acceptance but some waited a few weeks before they got an aid offer.
Yay, I’m so excited!!!

Advice for the 2020ers: Call me cliche, but write about something you’re passionate about in your essays. I’ve always been told that I’m a very good writer, but writing about myself just tends to get me in a rut - my application essays were no exception. I got so stressed out trying to write what would “get me accepted”, and it wasn’t until I wrote something that actually felt like me that I produced a good essay. Best of luck!
I’m still waiting to hear from a number of schools… how long is too long to accept my offer of admission?
Accepted!
Accepted: Junior

High School GPA UW 3.2 (Anything is possible!)

You can set up your unc email once you create an ONYEN. Make sure you like that name because it will be your email username and login for every campus site. With that you will be able to apply for housing, choose a meal plan, log in to Connect Carolina to search and enroll in classes (once you find your enrollment date in Connect Carolina, it should be on the right side of the page). @drx58973
You have until May 15th to accept your offer of admission. With this being said, you will likely not be able to register for many of the classes that you want should you decide to accept Carolina’s offer around that time as many classes will be full. @jackjack24
I won’t even have heard from a couple of schools before then! This process is so stressful. Thanks! @HSstudentNC
ACCEPTED! entering as a junior

Going to try to remain hopeful, but I know it’s not likely. Congratulations to everyone who got in, I’ve spent a lot time in my life on campus at UNC and it’s a special, special place as you guys know. Prayers for my eventual acceptance would be appreciated!
