UNC Transfer fall 2019

Accepted! Congrats to everyone who also got accepted!! When I went to accept my decision I chose to pay my deposit with the “electronic payment” option, but when I clicked “submit” a pop up box (which I’m assuming was the payment screen) was blocked due to my pop up blocker. I was then redirected to a screen that said “Error: This form has already been submitted.” Now when I try to go back to that screen it just shows me the same screen, but I can’t click anything… has this happened to anyone else or know how I can fix it?

where can i find my PID?

ACCEPTED!!!

here’s my stats one more time
my current GPA is a 3.88. (Deans list two semesters President’s list once)
Applying with 55 credit hours (60+ by this summer so I’ll still have junior status)
Extracurricular wise: I’m the chair for SGA senators at my cc, participating on a staff/faculty/student council for administrative and college-wide issues, member of the disciplinary review grievance committee for student conduct, and I work part-time for my school as an orientation leader.
Misc: taking 6 hours at NCSU this semester through the cooperating Raleigh colleges program
My essays touched on my organization of weekly student-led protests in downtown Raleigh that were featured on the nightly news when I was in high school and the role activism/politics plays in my identity. Also wrote about my self-funded trip backpacking across Europe for a month after my senior year and how I may be able to bring a wider perspective to campus.
my family’s income is around 40-50k annually

Congratulations everyone!! See you there tarheels

It keeps say my PID is not eligible for an ONYEN even though I’ve already accepted my offer. ?

Is anyone else experiencing this? I sent them an email about it

@jackjack24 google “what is my PID UNC” and the first link will help you retrieve it.

Hey! Just got accepted as a Junior Transfer.

I applied for Kenan Flagler using the common app, how will I know if I got into Kenan Flagler or just the school or arts and sciences?

Waitlisted
Current school: UNC Charlotte
College GPA: 3.769
High school WGPA: 4.25 UWGPA: 3.96
ACT: 20
I congratulate everyone accepted!! Also does anyone know statistics of past waitlists? Thanks

@bree24601

I am getting the same message about my ONYEN.

Does everyone that doesn’t get in get waitlisted? Are there any statistics on how many get on waitlist and how many get off of waitlist? Does how many that gets in off waitlist depend on how many first years commit to UNC on May 1?

@allmightychemist just made a thread for it, but you can also read last years waitlist thread to get an idea. Or Google UNC waitlist transfers and the UNC data should pop up.

@hbh2017 No. There are rejections as well as the waitlist. Read the transfer waitlist Q and A from your waitlist letter in MyCarolina for specifics.

What’s our PID? Is it something we need to know right now, or can I just find out later?

@htm2000 its your personal identification number thats assigned to you. You can google “what is my PID unc” and a page will come up for you to check. Its the number that will be on your UNC one card which is your student ID.

@bree24601 I’m dealing with that too! Idk what to do, I might just wait it out until tomorrow

Accepted as sophomore transfer
Major: Undecided
Hours: idk actually
Prior institution: Oberlin College
College GPA: 3.56
HS GPA: 3.8ish unweighted 5.06? weighted? can’t remember

ACT: 32/ 33 superscore
EC: like not much in college since I ran xc/track which was very time consuming, did have internship winter term with a representative in state government

does anybody know anything about appeals?

congratulations to everyone who got in. you guys are amazing!!!

@maxunc2021 So I think the application to KF is completely separate once you are a UNC student. No new student is outright admitted to KF. The application deadline is in September and decisions are released in October for entry into KF for Spring or Fall 2020. There are video questions that you must answer as well in the application.

Okay, I’m glad it’s not just me. I’m going to call first thing in the morning, but I also sent them an email.

I applied
On the common app.
I did the video application already and answered the Kenan Flagler essay questions.
