Extra Curriculars: Model United Nations Club - I went to an international conference this spring semester in Madrid.
I also have an internship this semester at a nonprofit organization in Charlotte.
On my essays, I wrote about shortcomings in my academic career and how I turned it around. I also wrote about the international perspective that doing Model United Nations has given me.

@HSstudentNC i just got accepted as a junior… if we chose the electronic payment option were we supposed to pay at the same time that we accepted our decision? or do we pay later? When I went to accept my decision I chose to pay my deposit with the “electronic payment” option, but when I clicked “submit” a pop up box (which I’m assuming was the payment screen) was blocked due to my pop up blocker. I was then redirected to a screen that said “Error: This form has already been submitted.” Now when I try to go back to that screen it just shows me the same screen, showing the options I chose, but I can’t click anything, so I’m not sure if there was error on my part or what lol
I’m not 100% sure on that. I did the “defer for financial aid” option. Have you tried doing it on other devices/web browsers. @lilchen98

I’m going to call admissions in the morning, but rn I’m just nervous my decision didn’t go through you know? I do have an assigned PID though… do you think that indicates that my decision went through?
You could maybe check your debit/credit card account to see if the charge to your account went through. Maybe the system isn’t updating. Every admitted student has a PID attached to them, so that shouldn’t have anything to do with it. @lilchen98
I’m getting the “Your PID is not elligable for an ONYEN” message. I’m guessing there’s some lag time between paying the deposit and clearing that up?
@HSstudentNC my problem is that I didn’t have the opportunity to enter in my card information. When the payment window tried to pop up, my pop up blocker shut it down then redirected me to a different page and now I can’t get back to it. It just shows me a page that shows the options I chose (“I accept my admission” and “electronic payment”), but won’t let me click anything
I didn’t make an ONYEN until the day after I was accepted but I was able to successfully. And I am not sure why that is happening but hopefully admissions will be able to help tomorrow. @lilchen98

I don’t have Facebook or Instagram so I feel sad i won’t be in these groups. ?
Last year I made a Facebook just to join the 2018 transfer group lol. I ended up meeting my current roommate on there so I guess it was worth it.
