GUYS I GOT IN!!! This is so surreal for me because while my stats were there and my essays were pretty good, I swore my ECs and age would hold me back.

Applied for Business Administration (KF)
I’m waiting for financial aid to commit, but I am beyond excited to call myself a Tar Heel!

College GPA: 4.0 first semester (Presidents Honor List), looking at a 4.0 this semester
ECs: Member of the Tri Delta chapter at my sorority, Dance Marathon, did multiple Chinese immersion programs with Middlebury Monterey Language Academy in high school.
So excited also really sad to leave my friends at school. Idk about y’all but I’m feeling a lot of emotions right now!
how do you know if you’re admitted with merit? would they have specified in the letter?
Is it unusual to get waitlisted if you have a 3.6 gpa from a NC Community College and rising junior? And all A’s fall 2018.

I got accepted and try to create it, but it says my PID is not qualified… hmm…
Did anyone create their account?
I paid $250 right after I got the acceptance update, but I guess it’s sensible to wait until processing is finalized?

Glad to know I’m not the only one. We’ll sink or swim together. I put in a help ticket - I’ll let you know what they say if they get back to me sooner.
Is anyone else planning on starting in the summer rather than the fall?

“We received your request about creating an onyen. Currently we do not show that you have an active affiliation. Sometimes it may take up to 72 hrs to process your information, I would suggest contacting the admissions office and following up to make sure they are not waiting on anything else. Once you have an active affiliation you can then create an onyen.”
@Mcunn226 do we need to accept our offer of admission to get the status of active affiliation?
I would imagine so. However some of us have and still can’t get in. I’m calling admissions at 9 to see if there’s something they need to do.
