UNC Transfer fall 2019

I don’t want to accept the offer without seeing my financial aid…

@Mcunn226 I just called admissions. She said that it takes the system 24 hours from the time we accept for it to show up. So if we accepted at 4pm yesterday, then we should be able to make a ONYEN this evening.

@reidtw I get that. UNCW offered a really good financial aid package for me, and I’ve heard that Chapel Hill is also generous so I’m taking a leap of faith and accepting now.

I might have to call. I don’t know how else to view financial aid if I can’t get into ConnectCarolina

Financial aid information isn’t released for about a week or so.

FYI, for those who are curious - if you’re planning to enroll this summer instead of fall you just need to email unchelp@admissions.unc.edu from the email account that’s on your common app with your name, DOB, and the fact you need to bump it up.

Yay I got in.

I haven’t accepted the offer of admission yet and it allowed me to make an onyen

Try ONYEN - it seems to be working.

Yep. Mine is working now

@HSstudentNC : Did you ever take a language placement test and if so, how long did it take you?

I did. I took the Spanish one. It took about 30 minutes. I placed into Spanish 105 (4 credit Spanish class that is Spanish 1&2 in one semester). I decided to just take Span 101 at UNC because I didn’t want the stress of a intensive Spanish course in my first semester. @Mcunn226

Did you guys all get an email notification that your descisions were posted?

Did any other rising juniors get waitlisted? I seems like most of the waitlisted are rising sophomores?

I am just surprised I got waitlisted with a 3.6 gpa and rising junior. In state

I got into my ONYEN but I can’t do much once i’m inside of ConnectCarolina.

@CPREme I don’t think any of us did, we all checked yesterday around 4 or 5 pm

For those who are able to access Connect Carolina, check and see if on the right side it states your registration date. Classes fill up really quick here and registration for returning students began on April 2nd. You will also be able to search for classes within Connect Carolina and view your financial aid and transfer credit report when they become available.

@transferluk Did you get in?

@HSstudentNC when are we partnered with an academic advisor to help us choose our classes? I have no idea what classes I need to take in the Fall.

@hbh2017 yep! So excited and shocked
