None of my summer course have books submitted yet.
That’s on them, I guess. I’m not ordering my stuff through the bookstore either. I can get everything for a small fraction of the price on Amazon.

does anyone know if we have to officially let our current college know that we don’t intend to come back?? because all i did so far was cancel my housing contract and order my final transcript to be sent to unc…
Check your registrar’s website. They might require you to officially withdraw.
has anyone else not gotten a decision yet or is it just me?
Your admissions dashboard hasn’t been updated?
no it hasnt 0.0 should i call them?
Since the deadline to enroll is next week, yes. Sorta sounds like they need some extra information and you never got or saw the email asking for it.
does anyone know where I can find free parking on unc’s campus so I can attend my summer classes? I tried to look for permits but it says they have none available…
You may have already done this, but the only way to get a parking permit over the summer is to register for a summer permit. Parking during the day (on campus) if you do not have a campus permit is pretty rough from my experience. There’s some metered parking but from 7:30 am to 5 PM M-F you will not find any free campus spots. It may be different over the summer but I believe you’ll still need a permit to park on campus in the non metered areas. Essentially the only free parking during school hours is off campus such as a restaurant on Franklin street (would not recommend as they are not afraid to tow your car).
If you are unable to find any summer parking permits I’d advise you to look and see if there are any bus routes near you that would take you to campus. @“lee.sophia32@gmail.com”
You have to pick up the parking passes in person at the public safety office.
For anyone wondering about financial aid awards…
They were pretty generous to me, I got a pell grant, work study, and some loans. My family’s income is about 40-50k annually and I received around $17,000 in total aid with about $4,000 of that in loans. I won’t be living on campus, I don’t have a car, and will definitely be looking for the cheapest books possible. The on-campus living for transfers is kind of insane to me… at the cheapest, you’re paying $900 or so a month to share a room with someone else? I don’t get it, but if you can swing it financially I could see it being beneficial. My aid amount gives me just enough to live comfortably if I’m smart with my budgeting and my rent is decent. I was told by the financial aid reps at the welcome reception that NO merit-based aid is allocated for transfer students whatsoever. This means that transfers are not eligible for scholarships related to academic performance or anything non-economic. I’m sure this must change when we apply for aid next year, but it’s still a bummer!
Just rejected my admissions offer. I hope someone on the waitlist can have my spot. Best of luck!
When they say the deadline to enroll is May 15, does that mean May 14 at 11:59 or May 15 at 11:59
@Mozerella24 that’s what I’m wondering
Most likely tonight (May 15) at 11:59 Eastern.
when do we get our rooming assignments?
I got my housing assignment in Early-Mid June but it varies some for other transfers. @“lee.sophia32@gmail.com”
@HSstudentNC Does everyone have an enrollment checklist header on their my Carolina if only on the waitlist and not admitted yet?
I’m not sure. I don’t remember seeing an enrollment checklist in Connect Carolina last year, although I wasn’t waitlisted. I only remember the To-Do items header. @hbh2017
Just got accepted from waiting list
