UNC vs Emory (Oxford) - STEM Major

Major: Undecided, but something STEM most likely

Cost: Emory is 7k more expensive

Other: They’re both really good schools and UNC’s much closer and less expensive, but Oxford’s a lot smaller and I’m a little concerned by the size, but I love the community it fosters. Also, Emory doesn’t have as much school spirit or a party culture as UNC seems to. I’ve visited UNC a couple of times and Oxford/Emory both once but usually during the off seasons. Anyone know anything on student culture, competitiveness, or have any other advice on deciding?

Thanks in advance

UNC since you want a larger student body & campus.

Some say: You can make a big school small, but you cannot make a small school big.

Honestly, I’m an introvert, but it just seemed like it was part of the quintessential college experience. Thanks for the advice, I’ll definitely keep it in mind
