UNC- Match
Never heard of wesleyan
New College of Florida - In by a mile. I know 2 people that are in state that go in easily. one of them has about the same stats as you but her SAT’s are much better. one is worse than you overall. New college of florida is trying extremely hard to get more students.

chance ?

I think your set for UNC but your writing SAT was kinda low but your EC’s and academic rigor make up for that. As for Wesleyan I’ve never heard and for New College I think you’ll get in.

Thanks for chancing me btw!

UNC- match
New College- Match
Wesleyan- zomg i want to go there too! ;p
nice EC and awards. you have the EC to back up what you want to major in for sure.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/846668-chance-me-plz.html

Wesleyan is a NESCAC college (New England Small College Athletic Conference), ranked #13 among national LACs in the USNews magazine poll last year and has been affiliated athletically and academically with Amherst and Williams for the last century or so.

I’d say, the OP’s chances are 50:50 for admission. The boards are a little low. But, the ECs would be intriguing enough to warrant a second reading, if I were on the adcom.

And, I know for a fact Wesleyan has made increasing geographic diversity (it’s located in Connecticut) a priority – so, hopefully, being from Florida will help, too. Good luck and keep your fingers crossed!

^^^ I’m from NC not Florida, but your comment still probably applies. I realize that my SATs are lower than their median in every category, but only by 10 in math and 50 in CR. I’m really more concerned about getting into UNC though(not that it’s harder just that it is where I would more likely go). I really like Wes, but it is after all a reach school and I thought I would take a shot and see.

UNC - high match/low reach
Wesleyan - high match/low reach
New College of Florida - don’t know much about

your sat score is a bit lower compared to your other specs, excellent ECs though :)

thanx for chancing me btw :)
