Starting a thread for applicants to UNCW class of 2029. According to the website, EA decisions will be sent “on or around January 20” and RD decisions “on or around March 15”. Honors College decisions will be sent “by February 1” for EA and “by April 1” for RD.

My daughter applied EA and also applied to the Honors College. We are in-state and this is a top choice for my daughter.
GPA 3.8 / 4.2 UW / W
SAT 1390

This year, January 20 is a holiday so I wonder if EA decisions will come out on January 17? It would be nice if they came out today!

Who else is applying, and from where?

does anybody know if decisions are coming out today or tomorrow ? bc the 20th is a holiday?

Typically decisions are released on a Thursday or Friday from UNCW so I’d say today may very well be the day. Decisions came out January 12 in 2024.

I haven’t seen or heard anything new.

I tried to go back and collect history from past threads but there wasn’t much of a pattern to the release dates. However, the last three cycles they have released on a Thursday or Friday

There is a separate scholarship application, my daughter created her account so that we could log in. We’ve glanced through the application, it is LONG and the priority deadline is March 1st.

I didn’t see anything about Honors but I wasn’t expecting to. If I recall correctly, those decisions are due by February?
