I have built up these 21 messages that the BB claims have not been read, but today I had my suspicion confirmed: I received an answer to a message which is still said to be unread. Can you confirm that this list is unreliable and should be ignored? Thanks.
Maybe the recipient refused to acknowledge the receipt request–I usually do.
Um, how does that work? I thought the design was to mark it “read” when it was read. Do we have a choice?
If I get a request to reply to receipt of delivery, in email or in private messaging systems like CC’s, I usually see either of two boxes I can check, one “accept” and one “decline,” or something like that. And I usually decline. That doesn’t mean I don’t read the message I receive, it just means that I don’t send back the receipt.
