We haven’t heard yet either. Emailed last Monday, and the reply was that his letter would be mailed out by the end of last week. Still nothing – we are assuming rejection, but we assumed that with Pace and found out yesterday that he was accepted. So who knows?

I got my rejection today, which sucks, but I got a really awesome personal letter, which mentioned things that I talked about with the Dean, who even personally signed my letter. None of my other schools did that! Anyone else get that in their rejections?

We emailed again yesterday since we hadn’t heard anything yet, and they emailed back saying the rejection letter is on its way.

Son received rejection letter and a few days later got his acceptance email from NYU. All is well and he’s pretty excited. As a bonus one of his very good friends was accepted as well. Best wishes to everyone!

Finally (and sadly) got our UNCSA rejection letter on Tuesday. :(

Hi everyone! I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I have a d that was accepted into the summer drama program at uncsa. We don’t know anything about the school. Has anybody attended this program or has info about it? Thanks

I would start a new thread with UNCSA summer program in the title. I’ll bet you’ll get more replies!

lmfein - my niece did the program last year and loved it, got a lot out of it and said it was the best three weeks. She said they audition in the beginning, are divided into groups and she loved every minute of it. It is intensive, but a good introduction to a BFA program.

Thank you soo much photomom5. It is good to know that your niece enjoyed it and got a lot out of it! I am sure my daughter will too. I might try to start a new thread like marbleheader suggested, just to see how all this works. Thanks! :)

Imfein1 – this thread has lots of info about summer programs though only a couple of comments about UNCSA’s program –

Any other members of the high school class of 2014 lurking in this thread? I’d love to get to know some of my future classmates.

My son did the UNCSA program the summer before senior year. Loved it. Learned a lot.

They really helped him with getting ready for auditions in senior year. It was a great experience, students lived in dorms with other high school students, they were pretty strict with them as they are high schoolers (curfews, no boys in girls apartments and vise versa) which we were fine with. Excellent summer program.

Almost all of the auditions/interviews commented on it during his interviews as part of his auditions.

I am only 12. But I still want know when most UNCSA drama students started acting . Thanks for reading
I replied to another post of yours about this. I would suggest starting to act now if you can in school or in the community. 12 is a great time to start. Have fun!
How many people audition for UNCSA school of drama high school.
I don’t know the answer to that. It is only for senior year though.
It was about 80 this year.
