Hi! First off, my daughter and I (also from Texas) wish you lots of luck! In regards to the interview, my daughter felt like she over prepared, but that helped her feel confident going in. Sounds like most of the questions that she and friends were asked, really expanded on their application/portfolio submissions to make sure that the faculty understood the candidates well enough to make difficult decisions. I think I put some pointers previously in this thread, but happy to answer more specific questions if we can.
Congrats on getting an interview! I was nervous as well, but as soon as the interview started I found myself already relieved. Most of the questions will expand on your portfolio and your artistic goals. They may ask you about the types of film and art that inspire you or have made an impact on you. You may also be asked why you want to attend film school and, specifically, UNCSA. Just remember to be completely yourself and you’ll do great!
Best of luck!!
