Undeclared Majors freshman schedule?

Whats a sample of a undeclared majors freshman schedule?

It varies depending on which college you’re in since the GE’s are different and your class sign up time (earlier=more choices), but it normally consists of the general requirements required by your college and freshman seminars.

I’m in Muir so mine consisted of a MCWP 40 (the writing course req for muir students), Cogs 11 (cognitive science course of a sequence that fulfills part of Muir req for social sciences sequence), JAPN 10A (fulfills language seq req for Muir and general interest in language), and Math 10A (Calculus course since I thought it would be required for the general fields I wanted to go into which were mainly something social science or life science) and a freshman seminar. The freshman seminar was fun and easy (might vary depending on seminar, some req light work or reading), just show up and pass. The Japanese class was easy since I had a bit of prior knowledge of the alphabets and grammer, so it wasn’t difficult at all. The other two classes took some effort especially the writing one. Overall, this schedule was manageable for me though, so I did pretty decent.

Mine is a bit more than what a lot of my friends took though. A lot took it easy with three courses to get adjusted to college and a freshman seminar to explore various fields of interest. A lot of them also enrolled in four or a one or two freshman seminars, but then dropped them after a class or two if they didn’t like them. Sorry if this is a bit long haha, I can’t help going into detail sometimes.

Depends on your college, but look at this and pick a few hypothetical majors to get an idea of what you should do (replacing muir’s GEs with your college’s):

even if you’re undeclared, you should have a tiny idea of what you’re good at and want to explore further. (ie, science person, writing person, fine arts person)
