<p>Is it normal to only get ~90 dollars in financial aid (grants, not TAP) from UB with an 89 average and 27 ACT?</p>

<p>Grant aid is based on your family income and assets, I believe, not your GPA and ACT score.</p>

<p>UB .if it’s the SUNY will give money only up to EFC using tuition and fees as the cost using grants for any larger awards. It’s done by formula. Room, board and discretionary expenses, books, supplies, transportation are not counted as COA for fin aid give out purposes. </p>
