Under Pressure To Take The AP Euro Exam

<p>I’m debating whether or not I should take the Ap exam, but my teacher is trying his hardest to convince me to take the exam. I don’t feel that I would do very well…but when I asked my teacher why I should take it…he never said that he thought I would do well. He just mentioned the whole “college credit” thing. I know that the exam is a while away, but is the exam that hard? Is anyone feeling pressure to take the exam from their teachers?</p>

<p>I’m not sure if he wants me to take it because he’s looking out for me or just to make the school and himself look good if everyone (including me)passes it.</p>

<p>If your teacher or your school is willing to provide financial support, there is no reason not to take it. Contrary to prevailing wisdom on this site, a less-than-5 performance on an AP does not diminsh your college acceptance opportunities. You really have nothing to lose by taking it if you know the stuff.</p>
