<p>To get a top job in finance, whether its ibanking, anaylst, or so forth, is it necessary to go to one of the few target schools, or will getting a good job be possible by not going to a target school, but going to a top grad school?</p>
<p>Undergrad is most important. You dont’t start applying to schools until you’ve been in the workforce for 2+ years, and the Harvard/Wharton MBA adcom will want to see that you’ve already come far.</p>
