you dont apply for the goizueta school until sophmore year. You don’t enter the school until junior year.
emory’s business program is a two-year program because they want their students to be more well rounded and spend the first two years getting the general educational requirements out of the way.

Last year, administrators were considering whether or not to change the system so that applicants would apply to the b-school out of high school. They ultimately decided to keep it the way it is; that is, applicants apply after their sophomore year. Like hockeydude said, they apparently kept it the same in order to ensure that all members of the student body (including bus. majors) are getting a well-rounded education at Emory. An article was written in the Emory Wheel about it.

By the way, I would only send the ACT if I was you. A 34 is much better than a 1350 SAT.

ok so…despite the fact taht u apply to the b school after ur soph year, would u guys recommend that i only send the ACT or both ACT and SAT/SAT 2s.

You may not have a choice if you want to send your SAT II scores (SAT IIs are encouraged but not required for Emory, I think). Your SAT I scores will be sent along with your SAT IIs.

“All available scores will be sent, including those from previous test administrations. You cannot send only your latest or highest SAT Reasoning Test scores, or separate scores for critical reading or math or writing, or only SAT Reasoning Test or only SAT Subject Tests scores.”

Just send the ACT because there is no reason to send the SAT and SAT II scores–Emory accepts either on an equal basis and as the SAT IIs are completely optional, you don’t need to send them. Unless they are exceptionally strong they won’t be helpful.
