<p>How good is the undergrad job placement for finance in areas that are NOT on the east coast? I’m considering going ED but I won’t if they don’t have good finance job placement not on wall street/east coast. Looking for more like Colorado, Texas, California, west coast ect.</p>
<p>A decent number of classmates from Duke ended up doing Investment Banking in San Francisco and Houston from what I recall. If a firm hires you, I don’t think it will force you to work for an East Coast office is you have family ties or specific reasons why you need to be elsewhere.</p>
<p>LA is also quite popular. Don’t know many who went to Denver, but there aren’t as many Colorado students at Duke. Dallas/Houston definitely gets a large of Duke finance grads. I don’t think you should have a problem going west - while the east coast gets larger numbers, Duke certainly has a presence out west (2 of Duke’s top 4 states with regard to number of students enrolled are California and Texas).</p>
