<p>I don’t know anything about NYU, but my sister just got accepted into the UVA comm school. You apply to it as a sophomore, so there’s a likelihood that you won’t be accepted b/c it is quite competitive. Overall, she loves UVA, but the housing situation is insane. Only freshmen really live on campus b/c the upperclass dorms are far away and housing contracts are all signed in the fall for the next year. It’s a great program and they just built a whole new school for it that is GORGEOUS. She loves the professors and there’s even a study-abroad trip in Denmark that you can do and still take the same classes. </p>
<p>Have you visited? The atmosphere of those 2 schools varies HUGELY.</p>
