undergrad: College of Letters, Arts & Sciences?

How is the arts & sciences college at USC for undergrad? I know their film, music, business and engineering schools are among nation’s top programs but no one seems to mention its College of Letters, Arts & Sciences.

Rankings is a minimal component to me, on the contrary, student-teacher ratio probably matters most.
So, then, how do the majors in science and social science compare to other larger schools (such as u of mich, nyu, etc) for undergrad?

What are the best majors/programs within the College of Arts & Sciences?

bump! 10char

I’d like to hear the answer to this as well; I have mainly heard people talking about film or science majors but I am interested in the humanities, namely philosophy, any input there?

someone please?

When investigating schools of philosophy, fit is very important. I have included a link below to the strenghts and specialties of philosophy at USC. The University of MI has a very high ranked graduate school, but for undergraduates a more personal private school such as USC is often the better choice.
