Undergrad - Dropout - Readmission to finish degree - gpa >2.0

I went to a community college from 2011 to 2014. I transferred to a UC (SC) with a GPA of 3.461. I pursued the business degree plus an emphasis and a minor. Due to several issues (marriage issues, finances, depression, substance abuse) my gpa started to drop, failing more and more classes. After 2.33 years I was barred for a whole year. I came back, with two quarters left to complete, and a gpa barely above 2.0. I came back, and messed up the first out of the two quarters I had left. I’ll be permanently barred from that school for good.

So here’s my question: what options do I have to finish my degree? What schools would accept me? I only need about four classes to finish my degree :frowning: thanks for any advice.

University of Maryland University College and Penn State World Campus both are fully accredited, have extensive online programs (and live classes in some locations) and accept up to 90 semester hours of transfer credit. Check them out:

Western Governors University is also worth a look. I can’t determine how many transfer credits it will accept, so you will need to investigate. Like UMUC and PSWC it is fully accredited.

Ask to talk to the GCs at UCSC. They’ve seen this before and can give you some good ideas.
