Hi i was was just wondering what are the best schools i could probably get into with these scores and get into there engineering department. I am very nervous about college selection.
1200 out 2400 or 1600? What is your GPA unweighted/weighted? What is your Home State? How much you can and your family pay each year? Which type of Engineering? Private or Public school? Large/Smal/Rural/Urban? Do you want to stay close to home or go out of state?
its out of 1600 and right around a 92% weighted and an average sized public school with 1300 kids in the school and it doesnt matter costs or location
Sorry, I meant what size college? Are you interested in attending a large public university or a smaller private? What type of Engineering?
Have you tried the Super Match feature on this website? http://www.collegeconfidential.com/college_search/
tried it didnt really help and i would like a school no smaller then 8,000 kids it can be huge or down to 8,000
and computer engineering
Look at the ABET web site for to find accredited programs in computer engineering, then look at each of them to see which accept students in your range (SAT and GPA). You can build your safety, match and reach list from that information.
that website isnt working for me
Check schools in your state as well. A lot of states have non-flagship public universities/colleges very solid (and affordable!) engineering programs.
What is your home state?
Abet link:
http://main.abet.org/aps/accreditedprogramsearch.aspx
Under quick search, type ‘Computer Engineering’
Select ‘All programs containing term Computer Engineering’
Make sure that bachelor is selected (it is not by default)
Also make sure to select UNITED STATES - ALL
I received a list of 260 schools. You should be able to quickly narrow the list based on geography, affordability , etc.
Try using the Supermatch function to the left (under find a college).
