Undergraduate Admissions for UW Seattle?

Hi, I’m applying to UW seattle and I have an SAT score of 1790 with a 3.9 GPA. I’m taking two IB classes IB calculus and IB chemistry II along with three college classes at a local college. I plan to get my AA degree by the time I graduate high school. I have volunteered for about 3 years at a food shelter. What are my chances…?

You can apply as a transfer student (since you’ll have your two-year AA degree) and basically be guaranteed admission to UW especially with your grades. Where is “local” for you?

I live in Lacey. I heard it was way harder to apply to UW Seattle as a transfer. Actually i thought it was way harder to apply as a transfer student than an undergraduate. I also heard some kid with a 4.0 got rejected from UW Seattle so i don’t know if i’ll get in haha…

Well the guaranteed transfer thing is for community colleges like Bellevue college. Something like 30% of new students each year are transfers from community colleges. And yeah UW is quite unpredictable with their first year admissions.
