Undergraduate Certificate in Philosophy: Worth it or worthless?

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a co major or minor when I stumbled upon this:

Hypothetically, I could graduate with a minor in philosophy AND the certificate in ethical theory and practice at the same time (Finance major btw). Is it worth it? My other options are co majors in either business analytics, business econ, or international business.

Only you can decide whether it’s worth it, because that estimation is based upon your interest in philosophy and your own goals and desires (career and otherwise).

It really should depend on your personal AL interests.

I am of the opinion that studying anything is a worthwhile endeavor. Experience in philosophy will show others that you are an extremely critical thinker, and you are always trying to understand “Why?”. Philosophers are hugely influential and are the reasons many things are the way they are today. If nothing else you will gain a basic understanding of the way certain things work and why they operate that way.
