Undergraduate Degree in Applied Math & Science for Mature Students (Working Adult Students)

Hi, in recent years we have noticed that people who were unable to finish school or do not have formal education were given a “Second Chance” to pursue their dreams through higher education. Stating this i did extensive search on universities who would accept mature students for their undergrad studies (I’m looking for applied maths & science) however many of the search are ending up either in Universities in UK or Harvard Extension School… both of which I’m not looking as a feasible option, as one being in UK (which is too expensive to pursue) and other being a backdoor towards Harvard. NO OFFENSE but I’d rather take classes where I’m able to grasp, understand and have discussions just like in a regular college.

If anybody has info on such Universities and/or colleges which are known for their Math & Science subjects please…please …please let me know… Thank you

BTW many of such colleges or unis could offer classes in evening…I wouldn’t worry about it at all !!! But are there such universities that do exist …then please guide me through them. Thank you

Most uni’s are open to all. Many people start by taking classes at the local CC, then transferring. Or there are programs for adult working students specifically at college like Uuniversity of San Francisco but they require a good number of credits to enter, then you get your degree in an accelerated manor. There is a ‘non traditional student’ section of this forum, it’s a little slow, but you might browse past posts. Also just search the websites of public colleges and universities in your area.
