Despite being told over and over by well-meaning folks that psych is a useless major, S20 has decided that is his major of choice. He doesn’t seem that interested in neuroscience side of psych but has the science/math strengths to do well if he changes his mind. Considering law school versus psych grad programs for his post-grad plans.
What would you look for in undergrad psych programs? What questions should he be asking? He has gathered his own list but want to make sure he makes the most of a departmental visit this week.
FWIW - high stat kid with strengths in science/math as well as English/writing.
