<p>I’m applying ED II to Tufts and know its an amazing school. So why isn’t it recognized as such an elite college by some of the people I talk to and it’s not even listed as a top school on this site</p>
<p>really it’s because we have a smaller endowment than most of the other schools that have been around for much longer. Which, i think, is a stupid thing to take into account when ranking. But we just got like a 100 million dollar donation, and we’re using the endowment for things we need, like a beautiful new dorm of suites and singles, and a new music building :-D</p>
<p>and it’s not listed as a top liberal arts school because it’s not a liberal arts school, it’s a national university.</p>
