Understanding the Time Schedule

I’m looking at the time schedule, and some classes have 5 listed next to their course code, which I assume is the number of credits the class is worth. Each other section has a QZ listed next to it. Does that mean we have to register in both the one listed with the 5 and one of the ones listed as QZ? My other school was a lot smaller, so we never had quiz sections.

EDIT: If QZ means quiz, what does LB mean?

EDIT EDIT: Wait, I get it, I think. LB means lab, right?

QZ is quiz section, basically a group of 30 or so people from your class with a TA where you can (generally) ask questions, take quizzes, sometimes take midterms, etc.
LB is a lab

edit; yeah 5 means 5 credits :P

And yes, if a class has a quiz section or a lab, you have to pick one and register for it – the system won’t let you register for the class alone (and the quiz section or lab section is usually an important part of your grade anyway).
