Union College ranks high on Forbes America's Best Colleges

<p>I was looking at the 2009 edition of Forbes America’s Best Colleges and I was pleasantly surprised to see that Union is ranked 26th! Boston College (No. 16) far outperforms Dartmouth (No. 98), Duke (No. 104) and Cornell College (No. 105).”</p>

<p>The rankings are based on 4 million student evaluations of courses and instructors, as recorded on the Web site RateMyProfessors.com, post-graduate success, the average salaries of graduates reported by Payscale.com, estimated average student debt after four years, four-year college graduation rates, and the number of students or faculty, adjusted for enrollment, who have won nationally competitive awards like Rhodes Scholarships or Nobel Prizes.</p>

<p>I love Union soooooo much but my lord, their financial aid is making it almost impossible for me to attend right now =&lt;/p>

<p>It was off around 10K… I mean I’m hoping to set up an appt. with the FA office for when I visit to see if there are any other options.</p>

<p>Still waiting! They sent me an application for a scholarship for full tuition but of course they aren’t going to make a decision until the last possible day. So upsetting but I’m posting my deposit at another school so I won’t be screwed out of attending college completely. <em>angry face</em></p>

<p>I applied to this program and was forwarded to the next level. I hoping to get wind of an interview any day now. But I have also applied to RPI, NU, Brown, etc. I noticed LIM because of it’s focus on Management, but what does that mean in the long run? Why this program? What are a pros for Union LIM? What will it give me (other than an MBA)?</p>
