Howdy y’all! I live in Tennessee and have an interest in Zoology and want to focus on becoming a Zoo Keeper. Union University is a christian college in Tennessee (Franklin I believe) and is the only school that offers Zoology. I am not very religious, but I would love to go anyway.
I was wondering if anyone here has any information on how good of a school Union is, how hard it is to get into, and so on since I live in Eastern Tennessee and have no one to ask. Thanks a bunch in advance!
I don’t know the school but here is admission info from Collegedata:

You should look into Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Not only does it have a zoology major: http://admissions.siu.edu/majors/#, but it also offers in-state tuition rates to “border state” residents (which includes Tennessee residents): http://admissions.siu.edu/cost/alternate-tuition-rates/.
According to the admissions data from CollegeData for SIU-Carbondale, enrolled freshmen have an ACT Composite average of 22; and the middle 50% of ACT scores is 19-26: http://www.collegedata.com/cs/data/college/college_pg02_tmpl.jhtml?schoolId=1744.
