My child has been accepted at Union in Jackson, TN and invited to their scholars weekend. I believe they are guaranteed a certain amount of scholarship just for attending. Does anyone know how this plays out in regard to the already offered financial aid package? Is it in addition to the grants, scholarships and loans that were already offered? Thereby taking the place of the loans?
Did you ever find out? We are in the same boat…I don’t think we have been offered anything, though.
It was a little unclear but I believe they said it would take the place of the loans. We should find out for sure in a few days though. That’s what the counselor made it sound like though.
