Unique uses for common things

<p>So in my quest for stuff to “man up” my son’s (about to be 10) bathroom (good bye frogs) I was looking for something to put extra toilet paper in. I found a great hammered copper bread box and it fits perfectly on the top of the toilet and looks good too. (Even has rubber feet) With a little guy who’s aim is questionable at best I didn’t want anything on the floor.</p>

<p>On a side note, I also use a really cool old French Butcher table as a sofa table and a great old (1930’s) safe for a side table.</p>

<p>I would like to hear what other common items for unique uses there are.</p>

<p>I was given a ceramic umbrella stand that I am using as a tall vase and have some dried flowers in it. You’d never know that it was designed as an umbrella stand.</p>
