Anyone have an opinion on which school I should pick?

If you’ve been accepted at all of these schools, you might want to ask your question on the Search & Selection forum since it gets more traffic.

Having transferred from Delaware, I can say that it’s not for everyone. All of those schools seem pretty similar, so you probably are looking for a huge school anyway, which was one of my complaints about it. Delaware has a great engineering program and is top 10 (USNWR) in chemical engineering (my original major). It’s not so big on sports if that’s a factor for you. Students tailgate and definitely go to the football games, so that culture is there, but whether or not the team actually wins is less certain. The campus, however, is outstanding-- if I had to pick one thing to miss from Delaware it would be how beautiful the main green is: [Imageshack - dscf3878de.jpg](ImageShack - Best place for all of your image hosting and image sharing needs)

I would say that you should decide based on location/where you want to be in the country, money/if you’re in-state anywhere, and major/program.

I know next to nothing about UMD (it’s near DC) and less about Arizona.

What do you want to major in? Is money a factor?

Thanks for all the responses. Ultimately, when I get to the school I will need to switch majors. I plan on majoring in Psychology (if I can switch). As of now, I am a philosophy major at maryland and arizona, and a wildlife conservation major at delaware. Some schools make it hard to switch majors once there, so that is a factor too.

In my experience it was very easy to switch majors at Delaware.

udel all the way
