<p>Pre-dental applicant to UOP</p>

<p>Is SAT II: Chemistry was absolutely required? The website said we should have taken it, but I chose to take SAT II exams in Math IIC and Biology. Hopefully, they’ll have a chemistry placement test for those who didn’t.</p>

<p>Should I mark that I have taken the SAT exam and input my best scores? Or wait til I’m done with Dec’s SAT exam (so I’d input the planned date instead of giving any scores)?

  • I sent in my previous SAT scores to UOP already. And will be sending dec’s scores as well. I just don’t know what to mark on their application.</p>

<p>If the app asks you about SATs, you list the ones you already have. UoP does not require SAT IIs for admission. It highly recommends (almost mandates) the Chemistry SAT II for pre-denistry so it can be used for placement after admission and you should thus take it, but for that purpose you can wait to take it until after you have been admitted. In other words, you do not have to worry about it for admission purposes.</p>

<p>For the pre-dental program, what if we meet their minimum GPA requirement, but not the SAT Critical Reading score? Will they not consider the applicant at all?</p>
