Are there certain universities that have a reputation for being cutthroat? Friend’s D just decided against one because of this but I’m not sure where she got the information. Are there certain universities that have a cutthroat reputation, and others that especially don’t? I sort of figured there would be both types at any school.
Reputation, yes. Reality, not so much. There are schools where the kids metaphorically hold hands in a circle and sing “Kumbaya,” and schools where they don’t, but I have not heard many reliable reports of “cutthroat” behavior in college.
Law school? Yes. Not college.
