<p>It appears you didn’t qualify for direct admission to the SOIC, so you will have to do the following (pulled from here, in case you’re curious: <a href=“http://www.soic.indiana.edu/prospective/undergrad-admit/apply.shtml”>http://www.soic.indiana.edu/prospective/undergrad-admit/apply.shtml</a>)</p>
<p>To be admitted to the School of Informatics and Computing, you must:</p>
<p>-Complete 26 credit hours of course work that can count toward the B.S. in Computer Science or B.S. in Informatics with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (a C average).
-Complete the English composition requirement (ENG W131 or equivalent) with a minimum grade of C.
-Meet with your UD advisor to formally declare your major as the B.S. in Computer Science or B.S. in Informatics.
-Students pursuing B.S. in Informatics must also complete INFO I101 Introduction to Informatics and the fundamental math skills requirement (MATH M118 or equivalent), both with a minimum grade of C.</p>
<p>When you meet these requirements, you will certify into the School of Informatics and Computing. Students are certified in January, May, and September. You will receive an official letter welcoming you to the school.</p>
