University for a Car-Maniac?

<p>I have a friend who is extremely into cars (and mechanics).</p>

<p>He has an unweighted GPA of 89% and he stands somewhere in the first 30% of our grade level. He did not take any APs before but as far as I know, he will take AP Physics C and AP Calculus this year.</p>

<p>The only things is that he does not have the slightest idea of where to attend. Our college councellor suggested Kettering University but more the options, the better it is for him.</p>

<p>So, as an international student, I (and my friend) would really appreciate your help if you could suggest us some schools in which he could satisfy his zeal for cars and mechanics.</p>

<p>He is seriously interested in cars and mechanics, it is now much more than a hobby. He really wants to study engineering</p>

<p>Nope, he does not want to be a mechanic, he really wishes to become an engineer.</p>
