Hi all,

I am currently a sophomore in high school and am having some difficulty figuring out which colleges I should apply to. I’m looking into medicine, specifically ophthalmology, but engineering is also an area of interest. Based on what I go into, I would like to have the other option to fall back on, but I don’t want the department to be lackluster in terms of reputation. I will post credentials if need be, but for now what are some universities that are reputable in engineering and premed?

Almost all colleges will prep you for premed. You just need to take (and do well) in specific subjects. For engineering look into ABET accreditation by school.

What are some good colleges that are fairly easy to get into?

Why don’t you, first, use the SuperMatch tool (upper left of this page) to develop at least a partial “candidate target school” list . . . and do NOT neglect safety schools?
