University of Alabama at Huntsville-seeking info

There are still a couple questions you asked that I hope some Engineering students will answer:

Is the engineering dept. decent? Does the small size of the school mean smaller class size, or simply larger classes and less availability of what you need to graduate in four years? Does the small size mean more individualized attention?

We are liking so many things that we hear about UAH, and it seems like a good fit for our daughter, who is looking to take Chemical Engineering. She qualifies for full tuition, which is a big attraction. She also likes the smaller size of the school, smaller class sizes, separate bedrooms, and the prevalence of nerds! She actually prefers the lack of a football team, if it’s not unAmerican to say so. But what concerns me is that the Chemical Engineering profs I can find ratings on get terrible reviews by students. I know that sometimes it’s just the complainers who post, but usually they are the minority’s if the professor is good. If the profs are all about research and terrible about teaching, will D even be able to maintain the 3.0 required to keep the scholarship? She is used to virtual school and doing a lot of self-teaching, but this material could be pretty tough, from what I understand.
