@GeorgiaMom50 These are excellent questions! A large population of UAH students pursue engineering. It would be safe to say when people think of UAH, they think of it as an engineering school, though all types of degrees are available. The Chemical Engineering department is smaller and very tight knit, networking-wise. The classes are small, and for freshmen, offered in many sections in order to keep them small. It is for this reason, students are able to connect with each other and with professors. D will have no trouble getting into classes. Like anything on the college level, the chemical engineering curriculum is tough. However, students have many resources to assist them in succeeding. Meeting with professors one-on-one, forming study groups, and utilizing the free tutoring services are all options open to students.
