<p>Does anyone know anything about this MT program? I saw it on the Big list and its in my region and i would like to know more about it if any one has any info.</p>
<p>UCO is an Oklahoma public university with about 16,000 students. Their MT is a BM degree…meaning more music focused that BFAs. The degree program is in the school of music and their requirements include choral work. They do at least two musicals a year and two cabaret style shows in the UCO Jazz Lab (dinner theater style/full bar!). They currently have about 45 students in the program and try to keep no more than 50 at any time. Students can also audition for the straight plays and dance shows. This fall, their musical is Carousel with Shirley Jones and Patrick Cassidy playing lead roles. They have had masterclasses with John Bucchino, Dave Clemmons and others. Last I heard they were in a transition from one MT director to another…you might check on that.</p>
