Hi, my son was recently accepted to UD (engineering) with Trustees scholarship and Honors College. We are planning a visit/tour next week but looking for feedback on people who have kids who attended or currently attend and how they feel about the neighborhood surrounding campus. Is there enough to do off campus? The crime appears pretty bad from articles I’ve read, but maybe not near where campus is located? Any and all feedback would be appreciated as this school is moving up on the list due to so many other positives about the school. TIA
There is plenty to do at Dayton. It’s always on the perennial lists of happy students and good school spirit.
