Would anyone be hearing this soon? On the portal it says January for EA.

My D2021 received a decision late November. If I recall it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Generally if I recall, they would generally release on Fridays starting in October/November timeframe each week- except Thanksgiving weekend which was a Wednesday.
Hopefully they release early this year too. I’m sure someone will post once decisions start rolling out.

Did your child apply with any recommendation letter? I know they are optional but was wondering if we should wait for teacher recommendation letter before applying. Thanks
Recommendation letters are sent separately. Definitely don’t wait to submit application.
Wondering if anyone has heard back yet? I am hearing from previous years not til November and usually on Fridays. Just curious. Thank you!
Last year, some people heard back starting in early November (maybe very late October, but not sure). My son received his acceptance the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. Typically, EA results were released on Fridays at 5:00pm, but i guess they did it early that time due to the holiday.

D25 applied 9/28. OOS female, 3.9 weighted GPA, submitted 1380 SAT score. Stats/Linguistic major choices.

Is the essay on “Self-appraisal of academic performance” optional? S25 doesn’t really have any unusually low grades to explain. Thanks
S25 didn’t complete it because same. No decision yet so hard to know if it was the right call.
My daughter also did not complete the essay because she had no low grades to explain. We looked into this a lot before she ultimately decided not to complete it and believe that it is optional.

Are we thinking this Friday after 5pm acceptances may come out? I hope so.

I hope so too! But wondering if because it’s 11/1, the official deadline, they will wait another week?

Aaggghh…applied 9/15 and status is still Awaiting Review. Maybe it’s by school? Arts & Sciences, political science and philosophy.
