We applied 10/9. Still has ā€œapplication under reviewā€ with mechanical engineering major listed. He has been offered a spot on the Swim team so really hoped weā€™d hear soon! GPA 4.27 with 8 APā€™s (mostly STEM) 1330 SAT, 29 ACT (but 35 in math which should help with engineering). Fingers crossed that we hear Friday!

For last year and the previous one, at least, almost all decisions were released on Fridays at 5:00pm. My younger sonā€™s date was an exception, and his wave was on the Wednesday of Thanksgiving. Iā€™m not certain what happened on other holiday weeks.

Does anyone know if they Send out the Merit offer at the same time as acceptance? I know some schools do it all at once but others like Alabama waited around three weeks.

Typically no. My older son received his merit decision I think a few weeks after. Last year, everyone was notified extremely late. I believe early March. UD said it had to do with the FAFSA fiasco, but my younger son had received merit offers from other schools either with the decision notification or within a few weeks later. So honestly I have no idea what your students can expect this year in terms of when they will hear about merit.

Under review too BUT it looks the same as 2 other schools we applied to. At 4:55 it was under review then flipped to accepted at 6pm

Yes it said that last week for a few days then changes to under review. Hope thatā€™s not a bad sign.

D25 also still says under review and said awaiting confirmation last week. Sheā€™s a high stats kid so I donā€™t think itā€™s a bad sign at all! Hopefully we all hear something tonight
