Hi I am deciding between udel and umass at amherst for their pre-vet and animal science majors. I am also interested in their equestrian teams. Was wondering if anybody was in these academic program in either of the schools and if someone could speak on delaware’s equestrian club and whether or not it is good or whether the horses are good or not. Can’t speak to the academic majors, but my daughter researched both. UMass barn is approx. a mile away. UDel barn was approx. 30-40 minutes away. Doesn’t sound like much, but with classes, clubs, and studying, an hour for travel once or twice a week does add up. My daughter committed to UMass. Barn at UMass was large, clean and girls seemed really outgoing when we toured. Good luck to your dtr.
